Embodied Kinship
1-1 Mentoring Container
You are a vessel for something vast.
There is a deep longing in you that won’t be quiet.
Like a gathering storm you feel it’s presence every day.
You know that to follow this longing won’t be easy
And you know you need to say yes to this.
To the good kind of trouble
that soul is asking from you.
To truly say yes to yourself and this life.
Embodied Kinship is a body and nature based practice of relating.
It offers a doorway back into the mystery of yourself, through sensation, connection with the natural world and the parts of you that feel hard to love.
It is a process which helps you trust the multitudes of knowing contained within your sensation, feeling, breathe, dreams and imagination.
This is an invitation to cross a threshold towards your longing and meet the places in you that hold grief, fear, longing, and aliveness because they are the portal towards that which your heart desires.
Embodied Kinship is a somatic and eco-centric mentoring practice. It supports you to come into contact with your embodied experience; sensation, feeling, energy. So you can build a deeper, relationship with your whole self.
This is not therapy or a quick fix. It is not a coaching method to make you more productive. It's a healing and wholing practice that helps you unhook from the myth of separation and return to your embodied experience and relationship as the ground of a soulful, connected life.
What this will ask of you
This work will ask you to give up the safety of the familiar. To meet parts of yourself you've kept at arm's length to befriend them and bring them home.
It will ask you to slow down. To orient by sensation and connection. To trust the wisdom of your own body and the land over the noise of the culture that trained you away from it.
If you're ready for that, this is for you.
What are you truly longing for?
Connection, friends, love, to feel comfortable in your skin, to belong, a home, a partner, creativity, meaning, purpose.
Whatever you are longing for there is a place for it here.
Yet your longing needs you to remember your wholeness. To befriend the feelings of unworthiness or loneliness you carry, the strategies that keep you safe and shielded against life.
To meet the places that feel hard to love and develop your capacity to hold them with compassion.
I’ve worked with hundreds of people on the frontiers of personal and planetary healing.
I’ve heard the talks, books & podcasts, been to the summit and workshops. I’ve heard how people so urgently want other humans to protect the earth yet they don’t have a tangible relationship with the more-than-human world.
I’ve seen a deep longing in people for profound connection with others, yet their inability to connect to the deeper parts of themselves.
What I’ve witnessed again and again is that the thing that you believe is the barrier to your longing is actually the doorway.

How We Work Together
Mentoring unfolds over an agreed period of time (typically 4–12 weeks) and includes:
1:1 mentoring sessions
Nature-based solo invitations
Walks or wanders in relationship with place
Ongoing WhatsApp support
A self-designed threshold ceremony, supported by me
Together, we listen for what is emerging and allow the ceremony to take shape organically. Whether witnessed privately or shared with loved ones, the ceremony creates a clear moment of marking, honouring what is ending and welcoming what is beginning.
Our process together might look something like the following:
First Call: Landing together.
Day walk / Wander
Second Call: The story of your wander
Solo invitations
Third Call: Putting it all together for the ceremony
Solo invitations & organising threshold ceremony
Threshold Ceremony
Fourth Call: Integration
My Approach
The pillars of my mentoring include:
Nature connection
Self-designed ceremony & ritual
Embodiment and somatics
Parts work and integration
Practices that gently shift consciousness
This work is informed by the Wild Mind Map and the lineage of Bill Plotkin’s nature-based soul work, alongside influences including emergent strategy, grief tending, somatics, and nervous-system awareness.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Threshold mentoring is a nature-based, ceremonial approach to supporting life transitions such as endings, beginnings, loss, and significant change. It offers companionship, guidance, and ritual to help you move through transitions consciously and with care.
-
Mentoring can support many thresholds, including grief, relationship changes, becoming a parent, career shifts, relocation, significant birthdays, and other moments where life feels like it is asking something new of you.
-
Mentoring is slower and more process-led than coaching. While coaching focuses on growth and forward movement, mentoring centres on honouring what is ending, integrating what has been, and marking change through nature connection and ceremony.
-
No. The ceremony emerges organically through our work together. Through conversations, nature-based invitations, and listening to what is arising, we discover together what kind of ceremony is being asked for.
-
Mentoring typically includes 1–1 sessions, nature-based solo invitations, walks or wanders in relationship with place, ongoing support between sessions, and a self-designed threshold ceremony supported by me.
-
This mentoring offering is specifically designed for women, informed by women’s rites of passage and relational ways of knowing.
-
Yes, nature connection is a core part of this work. This may include time outdoors where you live, guided solo invitations, or shared walks. You do not need prior experience, only a willingness to listen and be present.
-
Most mentoring containers last between 4–12 weeks, depending on the transition you are navigating and what feels supportive for the process. Some clients choose to continue with adhoc sessions.

This work is spiritual in the sense of meaning-making, relationship, and depth, but it is not religious or dogmatic. It honours personal experience, earth-based wisdom, animism as a worldview, and your own way of understanding life and mystery.
